Belclin-A Gel belongs to the class of dermatological preparations called \'antiacne\' used to treat acne (pimples). Acne is a skin condition that is common and occurs when hair follicles are blocked with dead skin cells and oil.Gel-based products absorb into the skin easily, leave little to no residue on the skin, and prevent greasiness. It primarily treats acne vulgaris and its associated symptoms and is not specifically formulated or indicated for removing dark spots or hyperpigmentation.A gel is made up of large molecules (often polymers) or that have coagulated in a solvent (often water) to form a jelly-like solid. The majority of the weight of a gel is due to the liquid in the system, but the gel behaves as a solid. When the electric field is applied, the larger molecules move more slowly through the gel while the smaller molecules move faster. The different sized molecules form distinct bands on the gel. The term "gel" in this instance refers to the matrix used to contain, then separate the target molecules.
